Cassandra”Candy”Stone graduated from Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC. She attended Central Piedmont Community College where she studied real estate and real estate law. Passing the NC Real Estate Exam in 1973, she became one of the youngest licensed sales person for the state at 17 years old. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and set off a career in Journalism where she found a love for radio and TV News Broadcasting, Sales and Reporting. Candy worked for radio stations WTSB, Lumberton, WSOC Radio, Charlotte-News Radio 93, WSGF, Savannah, GA, WYAV-104 Myrtle Beach, WECT-TV 6 Wilmington. She entered the doors of real estate in the 1980’s and worked with Coldwell Banker Professional Associates and ERA Pete Cline Realty. She was office manager, secretary, realtor, property manager. She liked real estate a lot. She most liked matching people to properties and helping people with the buying process. Married in 1990, it was the perfect time to join the team of Helen Locklear with The Real Estate Exchange. Stone headed up the sales team for the single property home division.
